What data we process
The core of this site is displaying data your browser sends with every website visit anyway:
- Your IP address — needed in order to show it to you; that is its only purpose.
- Your user agent (browser information) — shown only to you.
We do not store this data in log files or databases and do not use it for any other purpose. The port check temporarily (up to 10 minutes) keeps an anonymised counter to prevent abuse; it contains no identifiable IP address.
External services
For some features your browser contacts external services directly, which receive your IP address in the process:
- ipify.org — detection of your IPv4 and IPv6 address.
- ipwho.is — estimate of location, provider and AS number.
- OpenStreetMap — map display of the estimated location.
- Google Fonts — typefaces.
The privacy policies of these parties apply to their processing.
Cookies
This site sets one functional cookie: your language preference (NL/EN), valid for one year. No consent is required for this. We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
Your rights
Since we do not retain visitor data ourselves, there is generally nothing for us to disclose or delete. Under the GDPR you have, among others, the right to access, rectify and erase personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy, for instance when the site gains new features. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
